The Local Government Unit of Manolo Fortich, headed by Hon. Mayor Clive D. Quiño, was beyond words to express its gratitude to Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, the Presidential Son, as he ventured himself together with the TV-5 Network crew on a Road Trip from Laguindingan Airport down to Davao City.
Privileged and Honored
The Municipality of Manolo Fortich is beyond words to express its gratitude to the opportunity given by the Presidential Son, Baste, and the TV-5 Broadcasting Company. The road trip will be featured as a pilot episode of the TV-5’s new show, “LAKBAI!” – a TV show that is a facet to underrated places on the Philippines that offers great adventure, panoramic and scenic nature, and unadulterated culture.

The Distinct Taste of Manolo Fortich
There is so much to Manolo Fortich than pineapples and the adventure parks. Manolo Fortich ishome to Del Monte Country Clubhouse, locally known as “clubhouse”, located at Cawayanon, San Miguel. The Del Monte Country Clubhouse also serves prime steaks. One of the stop-overs of the trip, Baste was able to experience a full country American grandeur meal together with warm people and executives of Del Monte Philippines and the welcoming Hon. Clive D. Quiño, and his First Lady, Ms. Rina Quiño.
Surfing the Sea of Pineapples
The meal was just a prelude to the road trips that will take place. The next endeavor of Baste and the TV-5 crew was witnessing the seemingly endless sea of pineapple plantation. They also had the chance to visit the big pineapple landmark at the Camp Phillips, Agusan Canyon.
Manolo Fortich: Beyond Culture, Adventure and Heritage

As an extreme sports fan, Baste enjoys adventure himself. Together with the Hon. Mayor Clive D. Quiño, they exploited the naturally existing terrain of Mangima Canyon Spring through biking. Baste was in awe upon seeing the well-maintained, bike trail and enduro. This is possible through the efforts of LGU Manolo Fortich in promoting a sustainable environment and eco-friendly tourist spots.
